What did I do to my arm? Please help.
Hello, nice people.
On Thursday morning I woke up and my left arm was killing me. Sometimes--maybe once every couple months--I sleep on top of my arm and can't move it when I wake up. I briefly panic, thinking it's gone paralyzed, but after shaking it out it works fine.
This felt sort of like that, except the pins & needles, aching feeling lasted the whole day. Mostly around the upper forearm and elbow area. Friday, same thing. Saturday same thing. This morning, same thing.
My arm has a dull ache to it. When I don't move it for a while during the day, it becomes an intense ache. When I wake up, it doesn't hurt and I think maybe it's better. Then I start to move it and it's grimacingly achy. Then I sit up and it spikes again. Then I stand up and reach for my shoes on the floor and it spikes again. It's hurting now, too.
Interestingly, I have full ROM and no pain when I flex or move. I'm almost tempted to do my next workout--I don't think working out would make it hurt more. Only the left arm, not the right. I've taken some Advils which don't seem to help.
Has anyone seen or had this? Can you shed any light on this?
I'd be grateful. Thank you.

Have you seen your doctor about it?

Kind of sounds like a blood clot? Yeah, I'd see a doctor with those symptoms, and not lift until I did.
