I like gear. Anything to make me a bit more efficient, safe, things easier and so on (with the exception of clothing that does some of the work for you).

With that said, what do you have in your gym bag? What are your favorite things?

    I have:

    • 3" Belt
    • Do-Wins.
    • Dead Wedge. This is my favorite thing. Cheap, doesn't take any space and useful.
    • Rogue HG Collars. My gym has clips, which suck. I use my own, and when going to other gyms for classes and such it's nice to have my own.
    • Chalk Ball. I keep one in my bag in a ziplock. Quick, easy chalk without too much mess. You can chalk up over your bag and wipe down after and nobody is the wiser ;-)
    • Liquid Chalk. Sometimes just easier to deal with.
    • Ibuprofin, HMB, EDC Knife, Extra Pen

I like threads like this. Let's see if I remember everything...

    Rogue Do Wins 1/2" heel
    Chuck Taylors
    4" Best Belt
    Tupperware with chalk
    Elbow Sleeve
    Wrist Wraps
    Knee Sleeves
    Homemade Straps
    Dan Miller Microplates
    Training Log
    Pen
Smaller tupperware with scissors, tape, and band-aids

    I think that's it.

Good idea on the tape and band-aids. I keep meaning to put some in my bag. Bleeding at the gym is no bueno.

The Dead Wedge looks pretty neat. Good concept.

.5" Rip shoes, resoled one time
    4" Elite Retro belt
    chalk
    towel
    water

I have some extra stuff lying around that I rarely use: wrist wraps, knee wraps, knee sleeves, wrist straps, etc.

Oh yes...feminine hygeine products. Probably adds 5-10 lbs to each lift.

Definitely glad I'm male in gender.

Lifting at home, I don't usually pack a gym bag. But when I go to a meet, I pack the following

    Power Perfect II's
    DL Slippers
    4" Best Belt Athlete
    3" Best Belt
Wrist wraps (which I rarely use)
    Microplates
    Chalk
Spare tube socks. Never needed them so far, but I always throw a pair in.
    Ammonia caps
    Gluten free pop tarts
    Jar of natural peanut butter
    Plastic spoon

I've pared down recently, due to the ability to appropriate a pigeon hole at my gym. Previous list was:

    Ristos/runners (depending on which day)
    Sabo deadlift shoes *
    4" belt
    knee sleeves
    elbow sleeves
    wrist wraps
knee wraps (when in lead up to comp) *
    bag of chalk *
    resistance bands *
    perchmount fit (for filming sets)
    microplates *
    tiger balm
    wireless headphones
    deoderant

(* denotes items now kept at the gym)
