Hi all! I am 36yrs old Olympic Lifter from Ireland. Chasing Masters records in both Snatch and Clean&Jerk. Decided to use Rip`s various thoughts to push my lifts on. Started today on a template from some of the ol threads. Basically will be alternating strength days with the 2 lifts days. Current gym pbs - 92 Snatch, 110 clean&jerk. Comp pbs - 89 snatch,106 cl&j. Need to beat 90/112.5 to beat the current 94 class Masters 35 records.

Deadlift 140 3 sets 3
Press low as just getting back from wrist injury.
Snatch 90, missed 92.5 thrice- mainly due to poor receive footwork
Clean and Jerk 100, 105 missed jerk as bar came out of hand, 105 but think it was lockout, 110 missed jerk
Got some oil on my hands somehow at end of cleans. Wasnt sure if wise doing max night after last night strength training as my quads and glutes sore, but fired up.
Also learnt(the hard way) tonight that my body prefers different starts in the snatch and the clean. Jerk clearly lagging.

Just an update. I did get the records eventually. I got them for 2 weight classes. Was hoping for a hat trick as i have dropped 3 weight class groups, but had to withdraw a few days before comp due to ill health.
