    Default Squat-Bar Path Over Toes Needs Fixing

    Hi all....so I need to fix my squat bar path.
    As my squat load is increasing I am seeing that during ascent my bar path is traveling off mid foot and over my toes...This is ruining my hip drive and turning my squat into a good morning. I feel increasing weight may cause injury in the future. My descent is not as bad but i think that it also could be improved.
    I am addressing problems such as barbell positioning,grip,stance(shoulder width with toes 30 degrees),hips and knees breaking at same time,asymetric bar on back(keeping upper back tight)and among other things us squatters need to do.

    How is my knee travel?Too far forward?Are my hips back far enough?

    I was squating with chucks but I now have weightlifting shoes which will be used from now on. The below video is a deload set. I have focused on a slower descent.You can see that the bar path is slightly better but i suspect this is only because of the reduced weight(80kg down to 60kg). I kept my head more up in this set (just to see if it helped-I dont think it did)

    I watched the second set at 80Kg.

    Depth.

    Nothing else is grossly wrong, but you are shallow.

    Shove your knees out super hard, on the descent and the ascent, and I think you'll have a pretty good squat.

    I agree, my depth is an issue. I can hit below parallel but I seem to lose focus on some reps, goota keep that in check....Glad to hear nothing grossly wrong.

    I have noticed that,on ascent, my left leg is pulled inward and there is hip asymmetry(shifts to right) with higher load sets...This may be due to a lateral tilt in my pelvis(fractured when i was young).

    I seem to lose a bit of hip drive but i dont think its anything major. Docter said i can continue to lift aslong as there is no pain...there is not.

    Any ideas on this?...
