I want to let people know about a brand of athletic tape that's new to me and unique from all others in my experience. The brand is Leuko and the tape is very sticky. This is significant to me because sometimes I have to tape my shins but the skin is too wet to hold any other tape. That's all.

A piece of tape length-wise on the tibia makes an OK shinguard in a pinch.

It's "Leukoplast" here. They make a 1.25cm waterproof tape that's great for wrapping fingers and thumbs. It's kind of plastic and rubbery. Doesn't come off easily of when wet.

Soda bottle? What do they do? Cut 'em in half and tape them on like soccer shinguards? Nice re-purposing, and very ecofriendly if so.

Leuko tape is legit. I also like the athletic tape from Broz. It's the best stuff I've found for my thumbs.

    From the book:

You do need to maintain good control of the weight, because if you scrap your shins, you can get sores that will be a problem for a long time; then every time you deadlift, you will break the sore open and make a big mess on your socks or the bar. You might need to cut a shin guard out of a one-liter plastic bottle and place it inside the front of your socks until the sore heals.
