"Great Gains" is my favorite breakfast cereal!

So, squats ... they're high. The 139 set was better than the 141 set, but you need to get lower, my friend. You're also shoving your hips back and up instead of just up. You can see your knees shoot back as you drive out of the bottom. Looking up isn't helping either. So, next time, keep your eyes fixed on the floor about a foot in front of you. On the way down you're going to lean over and shove your knees out harder. Go lower than you want. Then, on the way up, watch your knees, literally. Do what you can to keep the knees forward and the chest up. Remember, we want hips and shoulders going up at the same time, not hips then shoulders.

You're on the right track. Keep working.

What does the FTW stand for?

    Thank you so much!!!

What do u mean with your First sentence?

So: knees more out, hips and shoulders UP Same Time, Look down, go lower?
    Why lean more over?
What do u mean with knees forward and chest UP?
I thought Break hips before knees on the Way Down?

    Thank u again!

I didn't say lean over more. I said lean over and shove your knees out harder. The emphasis for you is on shoving the knees out.

I mean don't let your knees shoot back so much when you initiate the drive up. When that happens, your hips shift back and up instead of just up. It also changes your back angle such that the hips have gone up faster than the shoulders. We cue "chest up" so you don't let your shoulders drop when you drive your hips.

No. Hips and knees unlock together creating a smooth, even descent.

Depth and knees are better on these. Stay with your hips on the drive up. You have a tendency to look up and lift your chest when it gets hard. This, of course, makes the rep even harder. Keep your eyes down and keep driving your hips up.

Ja I felt that -.-' almost thought it stapled me to the ground xD but I try again tomorrow and will come back to you. I finally found my mistake (knees) with the help of you guys and I am glad to know now how a right squat feels like. It always hurt my lower back before. Still new to shove the knees so much! Any other tips about that? Should i reset my weight due technik? Thx
