    Default Abdomen pain during deadlift

I realize you're not a doctor but maybe this is something you've come across. About a month ago I started thinking that my belt was pinching me during deadlifts since I was wearing it too low. It felt like a shot of intense heat on the bottom right side of my abdomen close the the crease it forms with my leg. Since then I've found that I get the same feeling, albeit much milder, when I deadlift without a belt. I took 2 weeks off from lifting for other reasons and when I deadlifted for the first time again today the feeling came back. Here's a video of a set when it happened:

    Deadlift Ouch

You can see me adjust my belt a little after the second rep b/c of the pain. It doesn't hurt terribly bad, like I said it feels like intense heat concentrated in that one spot. I'm hoping you tell me this happens all the time, it's just some fat getting pinched or something and it goes away. Then again afaik you could say it happens all the time it's a hernia I'm doomed...

It may be a hernia. SEARCH FUNCTION will reveal that you're not doomed if it is.
