Default Squats with one inflexable shoulder

When I take the bar out of the rack with a raised chest and both elbows pulled back as far as they will go my right elbow is two or three inches higher than the left. The result is that the bar tips to the left.

I've been doing stretches in a doorway and dislocates a few times a day for about six weeks with a definite improvement but the left shoulder is still tighter. I've been consciously raising the left elbow in a hard stretch and loosening off on the right when I squat but when it gets tough my right elbow inevitably elevates.

    Any thoughts or suggestions?

I had this problem. Didn't notice it until I did a squat video from the back.

The stretches here: http://vimeo.com/2450034 and here: http://board.crossfit.com/showthread.php?t=3061 helped me quite a bit.

Best for me though was to get in low bar position with piece of doweling and have a partner push up hard on my elbows. Made my shoulders pretty sore for awhile but did teh job.
