Got my cage back from the ironmonger, modified as requested. Put it together and decided to press right away. The only thing that bothers me (other than the abject weakness of a 100lb press, but I'm working my way back) is that the bar path seems to go not only up but back. Any suggested cues to help achieve a more vertical bar path? Thanks.

Looks like you could get the bar a lot closer to your face. Aim to almost brush your nose. I found this became easier to do as the weights got heavier.

These look good to me. Just add weight.

I actually nicked my chin and my nose each once in warmups. I figure more weight will force me to go more vertical, but those are both good tips to stay focused on!

It seems to me that if the bar path is moving back, you may be starting with the bar too far forward, or not starting with enough backward lean to keep it over mid-foot.

Ian, I think it's more the push to lock out that pushes it back. I probably need to figure out where I should feel my shoulders on my ears (a la Gary Gibson) to know I'm locking out up rather than back.
