Hi I have tried searching on google like advised to but couldn't find an answer to my question hope it has not been covered a million times before.

When squatting yesterday day I came up before going below parallel on one of my squats. Obviously I want to train myself so that this doesn't happen again but if it were to how would I make up for the failed rep? Do the extra one as a single at the end? Or redo the whole set?

    Thanks in advance.

You should make a consistent effort to reach proper depth, but it's not the end of the world if one or two of your reps are high. Remember that progress is the sum of your efforts over many, many training sessions. One bad rep here and there isn't going to sabotage everything.

torment speaks truth. However, I would do an extra rep, and this is what I have my clients do. This is not because the missed rep or two is that important in itself, it just acts as an incentive for the person to get every rep right. That's important because if they mess about and go shallow when they're squatting 40kg, they will certainly do it when they're squatting 140kg. Start as you mean to go on. Short reps should be made up. That should encourage you to make every rep good.

You could try what I'm doing until I'm statisfied I've got it hardwired in. I use a bungee cord at the depth I want. When I make it bend I know I'm going deep enough. I intend to dispense with it evenatually, butt it provides a good tactile cue in place where it's hard not to notice.

Having a buddy film my squat form with my smartphone is so frickin' handy. Apple and Droid should mention it in their commercials.
