I broke my arm. I thought I'd be able to get back to it very soon. However, due to the fact that I have a metal plate in my arm, my doc said I can't get back for another 3 months. Basically I can't train with my right arm. I am not a pussy, but I don't want to fuck with this. Plus, I'm not a doctor, so what do I know about broken-bone recovery?

    This sucks.

However, I was thinking I can squat. I haven't worked out in about 5 weeks. I am thinking I can just linearly progress back up. When I plateau, I can just go Texas Method on my squatting. I will also do back extensions a few times per week.

I don't know if anyone else has obvious suggestions or insight. This is kind of more me just being like "This sucks. Hold me."

I think you have the right idea. Just squat, and perhaps some back extensions.

If you have problems holding a high enough weight on your back, you could to high rep squatting with lighter weight or belt squats.

You could probably do other stuff like plyo training or hill sprints/sled dragging if you feel it is appropriate. Also bodybuilding stuff like shoulder flyes, maybe even curls if it doesnt hurt your arm.
