    Default Wrist Pain

everytime i bench, or do any excercises that require my wrist to be pushed back, i feel a bruising pain on the back side of my right wrist.

im positive my wrist is perfectly straight when i bench because ive been benching for many previous months and had no problem at all.

when i pull down on my right wrist, i see some tendons?/muscles? are boulging out (im assuming swollen or inflamed?) when compared to my left wrist.

have you heard of anything like this before?

im just resting from as much activity as possible. icing and in a temporary strap on cast.

    thanks.

There are ligaments that surround and confine the tendons that are in the wrist, and if either the ligaments or the adjacent fascias are torn the area will look different that the other wrist upon extension. If you are distraught about it enough to "rest from as much activity as possible" then you need to have it looked at by a physician.
