I delved deeper into the search function and found someone who asked the same of these exact same shoes, so problem solved unless anyone wants to try and change my mind from them.
Alright, so I was going to get those $39 VS shoes that were posted on here a couple times but I decided against it last night and then when I go to actually buy them tonight, they're out of size 11. I normally wear a size 11.5 running shoe and from most of the things I've heard you want to get a half size lower than what you usually wear. Since I'd rather not go up half a size to 12 which is available, I was wondering if anyone has experience with these shoes: http://www.maxbarbell.com/collection...tlifting-shoes
They're only $10 more w/o shipping but I don't know much about what to look for in shoes so I was wondering if anyone has used these before/knows about them.
Site Description: "Features: PU upper, compressed rubber mid and outsole, able to withstand heavy squats, heel elevation measures 0.75 inches, total heel height 1.25 inches"
EDIT: I'm not lifting very heavy at all yet if that makes any difference. I just wanted to go ahead and spring for a pair while I can.

Yes it was. Did you get them? And if so, how do you like them?
Ah hell, I ordered them last night, wish I knew about the code but I suppose that is good to let people know on here if they're interested in the shoes. Seems like a lot of companies do that but I never remember to actually e-mail them about it prior to buying. Makes them even cheaper than the $39 VS athletics. I just went with an 11.5 US, same as my normal sneaker size because I have really wide feet and I figure I can tighten them to adequate snugness.
