It'd be sweet if you rigged (pun not intended) the inside bunk area of your truck to be a power cage that could fold out when you needed to train.

All you need to know is right here:
Heh, epic movie!
I read an article (can't remember where) about a powerlifter who was on OTR driver. I think he would plan out where to do his powerlifts (like 1-2 days per week), and then he did a lot of bodybuilding type stuff on the other days, which could pretty much be done at any gym along the way. Maybe he was an owner/operator, so he had more freedom to drive to gyms on his off hours, not sure how carriers like Schneider or Swift operate.
I have a buddy that still drives cross country and he has 3 kettlebells that he keeps with him. A 35, 55 and 80 pounders. He can get a lot of work done in just 10 minutes.
Yeah that training style sounds familiar, but I thought I also read that he would just do BBing type stuff on the road at random gyms.
This kind of training could work. If you were OTR M-F as an owner/operator, you could do bbing workouts during the week on your off time. When you got home Saturday, you could train with a PL group and do the big 3.
I like the kettlebell or dumbbell idea. I don't really know how to use kettlebells though so if it were me I'd get some dumbbells.
A barbell might not be a bad idea if you have enough room to store it and the plates safely.
I would also seek out places for chin-ups. Even if it's at a playground somewhere, assuming you can find a place to park your truck and trailer.
