Left shoulder injured from snowboarding
Long story short: went snowboarding for the first time in my life in February. Had a blast, but wow does it beat you up. I injured my left shoulder pretty bad on the slopes: tried to catch my falls too many times going 20+ mph.
I can move it overhead, but I can't touch my back with my left hand. So far, this has limited my ability to: low bar squat (high bar is still painful to get into), bench, power clean and row.
As a substitute, I am doing: front squats, presses, and deadlifts. I may experiment with close grip bench in a few weeks.
I have never worked on front squat in my training, and it feels weird/different. Any suggestions on working with the front squat to maintain strength while healing?
