Mixing training methods in the same session
I've read that eccentric, concentric and isometric training has different motor recruitment patterns. This also happens with slow heavy lifting and explosive lifting (both can be performed in concentric, eccentric and isometric).
My question is if one should avoid to mixing explosive lifting and heavy lifting in the same session (which, by chance, it's what do WSB guys) or eccentric and concentric training in the same session, to avoid sending confusing stimulus to the CNS.

In other words, should one never do heavy clean & jerks? They combine concentric explosion, heavy eccentric deceleration, and isometric position control. As do heavy snatches.

So the answer is "no problem", I guess.
Thanks.

How the fuck are you supposed to separate eccentric and concentric training?

You'd have to pull a sled or ride a bike, and then do a bunch of negatives. Seems like a lot of trouble to my lazy ass. I'd rather just squat.
