    • starting strength seminar august 2024
    • starting strength seminar october 2024
    • starting strength seminar december 2024
    Video starts when I finish my first rep. 370 x 5 x5. That was fifth set.

    The bar looks to be in the wrong place.

    The bar is too high and you're going too deep. Get rid of the spotter behind you before one or both of you get seriously injured. You have safety bars on the rack to catch a miss.

    I'll try and post a video showing the bar position better. It really is rather low, all the way below my traps resting on my rear delt shelf.

    Why too deep? Isn't it better to go as deep as possible for strength development and usable range of motion? I can certainly add much more weight if I only go to parallel or a little below, but the current depth does work my hamstrings well.
