    Default Power cleans "stomp"

    Hi Rip!

First of all, I never got the chance to thank you for the books. I learned so much during the past year, and I got to read each book twice.
Never thought learning technique @ compound exercises can get that simple.

I also wanted to tell you that I train people using the knowledge I acquired from the books. It's really simple to do using the guidelines you wrote. More of a schedule of learning.

    Enough off-subject:

If you can remember, I uploaded not too back ago 2 videos of a failure with 93kg on the power clean. you suggested me to find a coach to help me learning to "finish the pull". Problem is - there are not too many coaches in Israel, and they truly believe that learning is supposed to be done with VERY light weights. What I also found is that I pull the bar high enough, and I lost the ability to stomp quickly and get under it while pointing the elbows forward quick enough.

How would you, as a coach, offer to improve that part? working some hang-power cleans? what other cue can you offer except from "stomp hard and shoot the elbows forward"?

    Thanks in advance!

I appreciate the kind words, but I cannot coach technical shit like this without being there to watch, evaluate, give feedback, see it reacted to, adjust it accordingly, watch the next rep, etc. Anybody who says they can is already in over their head, because they don't know their limitations.
