    Default Advanced Novice or Intermediate?

Read SS, been doing the program for about 6 months now. Started out being a 180 puke, now I am 220 and lift heavy. I eat for my weight, I mean red meat, eggs, chicken, veggys, and milk. Diet is not a probelm, never have been. I am a fat kid at heart, always will eat like one too.

    My numbers now are:
    Squat 5x3 @ 340
    Bench 5x3 @ 245
Press 5x3 @ 170 (strict, non of that knee bend bullshit)
Power Clean 3x5 @ 205 (just reset it down to 185 to get better form and more explosive jumps)
Deadlift 5x1 @ 345 (I have had some problems with this lift, and with my squat being so heavy it is very taxing at the end of that day. Idk I may be bitching but I know it should be over 400 with that squat number)

Today I failed my 3rd set, 5th rep of squats. Legs on fire. After looking at your book again it says to put front squats on wednesday for advanced novices, I ask this now so by monday I can know whether or not to go advanced novice or straight to intermediate lifting (ie, texas method)?

I am 5''9, 22, 220lbs, I get at least 9 hours of sleep each night, eat mostly clean (maybe a baconactor sometimes, but shit, cmon). Form is solid on all lifts beside Power clean. I may have milked all I can from this program.

    Advice? Comments?

Thank you again for your knowledge.

    With Respect.

I'd like to see a video of your squat from the side. I'll bet it's a little high. And you're looking at PPST 1st edition. I took the front squats out of the program a while back.
