    Default Deadlift form check

    • starting strength seminar august 2024
    • starting strength seminar october 2024
    • starting strength seminar december 2024
    This is the first time I am posting my form check.I just realized my deadlift looks very wrong, almost like a straight leg dead lift. It looks like I am bringing my butt up first.
    This might be contributing to a niggling sciatia like pain I feel now and then, but it gets
    better when I stretch.

    You start with your hips too low. They immediately shoot up, and then you stiff leg deadlift the weight (which I think you are acknowledging). Start with your hips higher.

    Thanks, will try this tomorrow and try to get a video for another form check.
