Hello! New member here, looking for some help with my squats. Am i using hip drive? Do i need to arch my back more, etc? Just looking for some general critique so i dont hurt myself lol. Thank you in advance. Oh and please excuse the camera work, no tripod yet.

I just watched the second video. All and all, not too bad. The big thing I noticed (especially in the later reps) is that your bar path is off. Just watch and see where you are starting to stall on a few of the reps. Now look how you are coming out of the hole. The bar path is probably getting too far forward. Can you feel the weight more on the front of your foot when that happens?

Callador, thanks for the response. Yes, sometimes when im getting tired i do feel like the weight transfers onto the front of my foot instead of staying on my heels. Do you have any recomendattions on how to fix my bar path?

Dont stay on your heels, focus on mid foot. As your fatiguing your lifting the chest when you should be hip driving. While your lifting think about mid foot and hip drive. Focusing on these things will fix the bar path. Post another video after you do this. Overall your doing very well.

Thank you Nick. A lot of the times when I really focus on hip drive, I end up with my legs fully extended but my back still horizontal. Ill remember to focus on midfoot, and i hope that my hip drive continues to develop.
