    Default Deadlift check

I would like a check on my deadlift. I have been doing the program since Feb. 2014, and started at 167lb body weight with 5 rep maxes below.

    Squat 135lbs
    Deadlift 165lbs
    Press 60lbs
    Bench 155lbs

Currently at 185lb bodyweight and my last workout's working weights are:

    Squat 275
    Deadlift 290
    Press 120
    Bench 215
Chins (3xfailure) have increased every workout.

The video is a set of 2 at 275lbs after completing my set of 290x5 on my last workout. I felt my form break at 290 so I reduced the weight and took a vid.

Is the weight just getting too heavy and I need to add more bodyweight, or is there a critical form issue?

    Thanks in advance!

I'd need to see a set of five to comment more fully. I am sorry about the plates you have to use.

I am headed out to the gym, and will update the thread with my deadlifts.

While I was performing my set some dude came by and took the bench my phone was siting on while recording; and I did not get the last three pulls. I did however reread the chapter on the deadlift and noticed a few things to correct. Im going to keep eating, lifting and lurking.

Those plates make it difficult, but you are just pulling singles here. It took you over a minute to get two reps. You need to go faster, spend less time in prayer before each lift and pull a set of five. Your form looks okay, just get more work done in less time.
