"weightlifting only because of the soles rigid design"
Most people split jerk, so there has to be some flexion in the forefoot. I'm sure it's just a disclaimer for Crossfitters who want to abuse them through weird workouts. Don't worry about it.
I just got a pair of Rogue Do-Wins as my fist ever pair of weightlifting shoes, they are the ones shown at the below url:
http://www.roguefitness.com/rogue-we...s-1-2-heel.php
The disclaimer on the website states:
"Doing movements such as box jumps, sprints, jump roping, and anything else that will cause extreme flex to the sole will compromise the integrity of the shoes."
When I do power cleans I definitely jump and this causes flexion in the soles. Does anyone else do power cleans with a jump in these things? If so, how long have you been doing it and has it caused any problems? Thanks.

They're perfectly fine.
Good, I was hoping that was a disclaimer geared toward cross fitters.
Yup they are MADE for doing cleans.
Crossfitters do weird shit like push a prowler and jump rope whilst wearing them.
