    Paul,

I just wanted to say thank you again for your cues on my squat. Since getting hip pain at 145lb, and resetting to 120lb in early December, I have worked my way up to a 180lb work set yesterday. (First time work sets at bodyweight! Yay!) No more hip pain. Aaand, I feel like I can continue linear progression for a while yet.

Here is my last work set at 180lb. They are not perfect, but I am no longer tipping forward.

    It's tight like that.

Viola, this is a really nice improvement. I'd like to see you get about 1" lower than you think you need to. I also want you to get more aggressive with your hip drive. The entire way down you should be thinking about UP. Hit the bottom and drive your ass up HARD! Have the guy quietly counting in the background crank up some AC/DC and yell "Drive those hips, baby girl!!!" Unless he's your uncle or something. That would be awkward.

    Keep kicking ass!

Thanks! I have used the Hip drive cue lately to help me. I was forgetting it by that set, though, I think. And yes, I was redlighted on my second squat at my first powerlifting meet last week, so I know I have to work on depth.
