Grandpa's old body!
Rip,
My 70 year old grandpa has a partially torn left rotator cuff and has been going to the (worthless) PT sessions for over a year. He works out with machines and runs the treadmill at your local globo gym, and his trainer has had him doing lat pulldowns to fix it, along with his PT. I advised him on pressing and gave him your book. He is retired and has plenty of time to fix this even if it will be a long process. He can achieve fullROM and none of the press movement causes inflammation. His pain begins when he is resting and not physically active. Should I have him doing sets across with microloading, or would you reccomend a different approach?

The sets across with small jumps about 2x/week are just what he needs. You're a good grandkid.
