Hey Rip... I've posted a few threads related to my shoulder impingement over the last year. I'd gone through months of little success, followed by a cortisone injection, Starr Rehab, flare ups, ART, and was finally making progress, even doing some bench and OH work, and even low bar squats again.

Well, as I hit the gas on my squat progression I've irritated the shoulder as bad as its been in nearly a year since my injection. I've been making progress but its hard not to get discouraged.

I've had an MRI arthrogram and apparently do not have a hooked acromion.

Wondering if you had any thoughts on the appropriateness of surgery in an instance like this... I'm 22, and had just embarked on my powerlifting adventures in 2006 but this shoulder problem is proving quite an obstacle.
