The 16th of December, last year I pulled 3 plates for 5 reps. 4 days before my 64th Bday. I only trained sporadically throughout the year.....
No belt, straps, or any other accessory equipment. Just sweat pants, T-shirt, and non slip shoes.

Nice work ChessGuy! Goal for 2016? Might I suggest training regularly to see what's possible. Keep up the good work.

    Nice job! I agree with Scott - set a goal(s) for 2016.

I don't believe in setting goals. When I *feel* I can do better safely, I will. No hurry. Heck, I'm sure with a belt and mixed grip I could have pulled 340, or better.

My limitation right now is my grip.

Actually, I do have a goal....that is to stay injury free.

I'm assuming that was a PR, if so it is a big deal. Keep it going.

Congratulations! It's always great when you can put up another air of the big wheels. Especially for us geezers.

File this under "what have you done lately" Bestafter 60 is correct. Congrats on hitting the three plate goal. It is a big deal. PR's for geezers are ego inflating - and they should be. We know now, we were awesome when we were younger but we didn't know it then! However if you don't try and add 5 pounds that strong old guy you know will quickly be a thing of the past. Remember the Geezer's motto " To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield." (Hat tip to Bill Brownley)
