    I saw a design for elementary classroom desks with that design. It seemed brilliant until you think of 5 years from now when they all squeak loudly, and there's no budget to replace them for the next 10.

    rogue gave me an idea. i starting thinking of cutting up my old rack and making a workbench/grill/patio bar out of it. but it wouldnt be remotely safe to use this just to play footsie outside. likely would get drunk and trip over this damn thing.

    Holy crap... the things people will spend money on. Put two old university text books on the floor and then jiggle your foot whenever you need. As the books slide around they will need to be readjusted. Bonus bending and squatting time everyone you do this. I gotta run to the patent office....
