    Default Squat Form Check

This is my 3rd workout on Starting Strength, squatting 135 lbs. I'm not feeling a lot of tension in my rear, seems like my knees are doing a lot of the lifting. I'm trying hard to push my knees out, bend over, and sit back. Hoping someone can help figure out what I'm doing wrong. I do have the book and have read the relevant squat chapters multiple times. I understand what Rippetoe is saying just not sure I'm doing it correctly.

I've got a training log herel with all the relevant biographical details.

Thanks for watching and providing feedback.

Those aren't bad at all. Don't worry about where you "feel" the squats. At some point, you will feel them in your soul more than any muscle group. You need to get yourself some lifting shoes. Also, let your knees come more forward early in the movement. Other than that, carry on.

Oh, one other thing. Pause at the top. Get a big breath and get tight. You are just going one after the other. Break yourself of that habit.
