Restoring Faded Bumper Plates

Has anyone out there ever restored the shine to faded bumper plates? Mine have survived outside for a few periods and they still are in great shape but the colours have faded a bit. I’ve seen a few recommendations on how to do this but thought I’d check if anyone here has done this.

Never tried on a bumper plate but I do use a product called Rubber Renew for old idler wheels on my turntables. This product helps restore old dried out faded rubber. Name says it all. Usually found at electronic distributors.
