Hello, so just looking for some input from people whove been doing this longer than I have, ive recently restarted the program again after a 2yr stop from gyms being closed, life, etc. and I'm a month in and I'm curious if my progress would be considered normal of not, I am a 38yo male 6'2 down to 308lbs from 322lbs.
    My progress is as follows:
    Squat:135-180
    Press:55-100
    Bench:115-145
    Deadlift:225-275
    Clean:135-145
I am taking 5lb jumps (with some larger 10ish lb jumps earlier to get to what felt like good workset weight) and all lifts are challenging on the last rep especially the last set. I'm enjoying seeing my upper body growing and my waist slimming, I'm currently aiming for a realistic goal of squat:250, deadlift:365, bench:225, press:150, and clean:225 should be doable in my mind all for 5. Any advise or comments welcome thanks.

That doesn't add up. 1 month of training is 12 workouts, 5lbs x 11 is 55lbs. Your Squat is up 45lbs and your deadlift is up 50lbs, so on average you've taken less than 5lbs jumps on both of them. Your Press went up as much as you Squat, and your Bench went up 15 less lbs than your Press.
Plus, you're already doing Clean within the 1st month of training.
My advice is do the program as it's written

You would do best at this stage to make the process your goal, and discover the numbers.

The numbers come from consistently complying with the program, and the ones you mention as putative goals will definitely limit you artificially.

I'm going to be 62 and 5'10" 190lbs and my numbers are bigger than that. I would aim a lot higher! I'd kill to be your age and 6'2", hahaha.
