Default Question about chin up protocol

    Hi Rip,

I have been dealing with golfers elbow on both arms for 6 months now. Decided to start doing the chin up protocol since nothing was working.
I started on monday, and since I havent trained ever since I got injured, I got insane DOMS on my upper body from the chins. I'm not even sure if my DOMS will be cleared after the 4 days of rest.
I did 12 triples and 7 doubles. So 50 reps total.
What should I do? Should I drop the volume the next day I do the method? Can I rest an extra day if needed?
    Thanks

Train through the soreness. It's the price you pay for a long layoff.

I will continue the protocol as normal then. Thank you

Nothing much to add here except: Stick with the protocol. It works! But, it is extremely uncomfortable and, at times for me, downright painful. But, well worth it.
