Help With Squat Depth
Hi,
I am having problem hitting proper depth without losing my lumbar curve. When I force myself to go "low enough," I invariably wind up missing several days of training due to low back pain. If I make sure I keep my low back tight, I cannot get the proper depth. I need help. Here are some videos that may demonstrate the problem:

I am trying to shove my knees out at the bottom of each rep, but I still feel like I can't go low enough without rounding my low back.
Does it look like my knees are too far forward? I have been studying Starting Strength. On page 44, the trainee in the top left has his shins almost perpendicular to the floor. Of course, they are not that vertical, but they seem quite different than the position of my shins. Do you think that is the problem?
I do not think I have any hamstring flexibility issues. I do have some excessive rounding of the upper back and a corresponding pelvic tilt. Here is what I look like from the side. Do you think this could be causing my problem?

Thank you for your help.

The middle link works, your squat looks fine. I think your looking too much into keeping the back round. When you reach the maxium depth, the sacrum flexes which is normal making you feel like you lose back shape. But that isnt the case. Go all the way down. Use your hips to drive up! The rest of it looks good Mister. Nothing wrong with form there just go for it.

Thank you for your comments. I will use YouTube next time, and I will work on going all the way down.
