Heptagon Bar

I know how much you all love hex plates and hex bars. But have you ever seen a heptagon bar? Hexagon Bar - Album on Imgur

I've never encountered this before. It has seven sides. Absolutely strange. Also looks DIY, the edges are crooked in a few spots.
I did a set of five deadlift with it, overhand and hook grip. Not a fan. You know how hex plates like to 'settle' and roll on the floor on one of the flat sides? It does the same thing, but in your hands.
Definitely going to avoid this bar.

So gyms are open in your place? Where do you live?

I live in Eastern WA near the Idaho border. Our states gyms aren't open yet, so I drive over to Idaho to train.

Update: they actually have TWO of these things. I think random bars rotate in/out of the weight room from the crossfit room, where there's a larger selection of bars.
Also, I miscounted. It's got six sides. Sorry.

They should let the crossfit classes keep them. Nothing of value lost that way.
