COVID seems to be good for equipment sellers!

I've noticed the last couple days that the "usual places" seem to be sold out of power bars.

I imagine many on the fence about a home gym are pulling the trigger.

COVID seems to be sort of a boom for the gym equipment industry.

My gym closed Monday. I went home and ordered a bar, some bumpers a rack and a bench. Went back to the site today---same bench and bar is currently sold out, and the bumpers are $100 more expensive than they were earlier this week. Supply and huge demand.

There is also the impact that many of these items where manufactured in China and the factories may have been shut down for a while. That could minimize their backup stock and lead to sold out conditions.
