Power Clean rep scheme Texas Method
Hi Andy,
What are some ideas for changing the rep scheme on the PC when it gets stale?
I'm currently doing it on volume day for 5 triples. Still microloading from linear progression, since I learned this lift much later than the others. I'm not rotating in power snatches.
My current idea is to do a sort of "running it out" strategy, like on page 120 of PPST3.
5 triples
6-8 doubles
10 singles
I would stick with triples until they get close to stalling. Then run doubles for as long as possible, and so on. I would intentionally continue to microload (2.5 lb jumps), so that a jump down from triples to doubles would represent a slight decrease in intensity.
Any better ideas?
