    Rip,

This past weekend you spoke of the travesty of how today everyone wears loose fitting pants and t-shirts and how it interferes with the lifts. Do you know where I can find the tight three striped pants the boy(forgot his name) in all the photos in Starting Stength? I hate deadlifting in sweats that are loose.

    Thank you

    Dave

I dont know about those adidas leggings, looked pretty retro to me.

A company called "Ronhill" do loose fitting leggings/training pants called "tracksters" which have a good taper on them.

A good shape I think to accommodate squat thighs without a big baggy bottoms to get in the way of deadlifts.

Champion still makes some of the older style workout pants.

If my memory serves me right, it looks like he is wearing soccer warm up pants. I have pants exactly like them and have worn many different pairs since I've played soccer for 15 years.

the pants are made by Adidas and you can probably order a pair off www.soccerpost.com

Sweet Jesus, Chawley, those pants must have been EXACTLY what my university's female track team used to wear when they went to the dining hall after their workouts. My god, it was spectacular.

    Thanks for the memory.

Actually i am having similar problems.

I wear a loose rugby short, that is very short, that doesn't restrict motion. BUT....

... the centre knurling on the bar means that when i clean and snatch after a few months i get a hole in the crotch region. Any solutions?

Also, the tight that sprinters and track and field people wear are expensive and hole are created even more easily.
Also, and this is a little more err..delicate..issue, but those tight spandex pants leave the crotch area a little exposed, and umm, in my gym there are quite a few hot girls floating around who like to tease...so you know...
