    Default Squat Form Check

Returning after a long layoff, 3x5x160 felt okay, but not great. Depth looks okay, knees seem to be staying out. Only issues I noticed are that I do not stand completely straight up after each rep (slight tilt forward), and after my rebound I arch my lower back a bit. Am I raising my chest too much, or is my back not in extension? On the second set, looks like my left foot is wider than my right.

    Anything else? Thanks

    First set, 45 angle

Second set, behind to check knees out

Third set, side angle to check depth and knee forward travel

Excellent squats, all the important things are there. What were you squatting before your layoff?

3x5x190, programming issues. I was trying to lose weight, doing lots of swimming and rowing, generally unfocused. Priorities have changed for me now.

With that quality of squat, you'll be able to do very well once you organize your training and outside activities.

Thanks. I have stopped everything, running the standard a/b, so I don't see any issues. Any thoughts on my lower back arch? I do tend to feel some pressure in that area, and don't want to have any problems.

It doesn't look excessive to me, if that's what you're asking about.

Nice. Maybe "a pube too high" on some reps?
