    Rip,

My stats are: age 41, 5'10", my lifts are going up, my waist has remained the same size, and the fitness people at my gym estimated my body fat at 20% using some new infrared piece of equipment. I started at 193 and am now 210.

    Lifts are:

    Squat 155 now 280 for 3 sets of 5
Press 95 now 137.5 for 3 sets of five
Deadlift 245 now 335 for one set of five.
Pull-ups were oringinally a single set of 12. These have decreased a little to 8/5/3/3/3 in a workout.
Power clean was 95 now 150.

I am currently gaining weight at about 1 to 1.5 pounds per week. Should I be aiming to gain weight at a faster rate or is this about right?

I am trying to squat 405 and deadlift 500. A bodyweight press would be nice, but I think it will have to come with time.

Thanks. Starting strength is the shit.

    Tom

Sounds like you're doing pretty well to me. Sally forth.
