    Default Deadlift Form Check

    Hi Guys,
    Just after some critique on my deadlift please. 154kg or 340lbs x5. Deadlifting once per week.

    Hips trending lower as the set goes on. This is pushing the bar forward.

    You are pulling the bar up, you should think about pushing the floor away.

    A minor observation - it looks like you may be holding your valsalva in your mouth, instead of against a closed glottis. (Your lips are together plus your cheeks are going out, Dizzy Gillespie style.)

    I personally correct this by making sure my teeth show when I valsalva, almost like a snarl. That forces the hold to be at the glottis.
