Default Glute Injury Since July 2014

I've been dealing with a stubborn injury for almost two years now. The injury began with doing a modified Smolov routine while I was still a beginner which took my squat from 275 to 315 in a month. However the pain began in the last meek of the 4 week program due to too much volume without enough recovery. The pain is a stabbing pain in my glute region at the lockout of a squat or deadlift. Sometimes it's better depending on my positioning but overall my strength has stagnated for 2 years due to this and it is very unmotivating. I have tried everything including gluteal/hip stretching for extended periods, LAX ball/ foam roller tissue release, I have been to two PT's and an orthopaedic specialist, none of them knew what was wrong and the PT didn't help at all they had me doing body weight bridges and planks, no improvement. I've tried starting with the bar and doing reps of 20 and working my way back to heavy squats after a month and the pain persists. I have deadlifted 425 in the past and today I could only pull 275 for 5 with the 4th and 5th reps causing a searing pain localized to right about where my piriformis and other external rotators are located on the right side. I have dealt with some jacked up hip flexors from time to time because of this. Since the injury I have managed to deadlift 315 for 8 and squat 315 for 5 however the deads took a toll on my back and the squats took a toll on my knees due to compensation from lack of glute involvement due to the pain. I need a solution for this as strength training is my passion and I love the lower body lifts. My current plan is to somehow get insurance to cover an MRI but even that might not show. If anyone has something Similiar or have any advice I am open. Let me know, thanks

Off the wall question, have you ever had a cortisone shot in that area?

I experienced a bit of pain and even a slight injury in the area where I had a shot. The pain has been gone for years now though.

I have the same issue for 6 months.I did a MRI several months ago, but showed nothing. Then I went to another doctor last months, she said I pulled a tendon deep inside my glute(doubt it) and it's meaningless to do a MRI (doubt it too)cuz glute muscle are roo thick to find something and prescribed me some Physical Therapy(Microwave treatment and Ultrasound treatment)and seems they don't work at all.Foam rolling just made things worse, each time I did Foam for a few days,my glutes hurts more at my next training session.
I don't feel pain actually. What I feel is soreness.Extreme soreness(maybe it's because everyone has different definition of pian/soreness).The Soreness/pain appears when I pull the bar from the ground when I deadlift and the bottom when I squat. Before my injury I squat 140kg x7 and DL 140kgx6
Now whenever I pull above 120kg.There's soreness/pain appears and seems my glute just stop working when it gets heavy(my form is solid under 120kg but when it goes like 130 my hip startsshooting first).Squat seems fine cuz I can still squat 140kg for 1 easily but still, soreness is there just not as serious as when I DL.
I'm gonna go see another doctor and see how it goes and finish my physical therapy.Maybe I'm gonna try some TCM if Im desperate enough.I will keep update when I find out the cause (hopefully)or I find something that helps.
