Foot positioning duing DL lift-off
Hey coach!
Just a quick word of thanks: since reading your book i have finally learned to squat (at least so i hope!). I ve been lifting for years but i never really got anywhere in the back squat (or front squat for that matter!). I thought it was my long legs that made it weird, but since i started pushing the old knees out, i ve been able to get low and actually lift some weight!
right enough of that!
my question: when i get into position for the DL, I try to keep my toes quite forwards, but i have trouble getting my back straight in that position, when i point the toes out more i can go lower and correct the back, but it feels really weird!
Should i just get used to it or try to force the toes forwards more?
sorry about the lengthy question!
cheers,
martin

I just did an interview with Myles Kantor that deals with this. When it is published I'll post the link.
