programming massage
Hi Coach, I can’t thank you enough for taking on this forum.
There have been a number of posts in the starting strength.com forums about massage recently. I’ve been particularly interested in the question of WHEN to get a massage for maximum benefit – I think this is a programming question. Do you recommend massage at all? If so, where do you slot it in to a M/W/F workout schedule? Some folks say it doesn’t matter. Some recommend off days. Others recommend Saturday so there is a full recovery day before the next workout. By “massage,” I’m referring to rolfing or ART style of massage that digs into the muscles and leaves one with some soreness afterwards.

I definately recommend massage. I'd probably do it on a rest day but I don't know that it makes that much difference....maybe ask your ART guy and see what he says.
