One of the best videos. I've watched this before a lot of squat sessions.
Edit: full video is worth watching: Kirk Karwoski - "From Cadet to Captain" | Starting Strength - YouTube

Here he is putting into practice.
I use this advice all the time, not just with myself but with other people. It's so simple that it makes you feel stupid that you didn't think of it first.
He genetically gifted and was on drugs when he competed. Also, it doesn't matter what really good lifters do because that doesn't mean they know what they're doing. I'm not even sure Kirk has read "the book." If I want advice, I'll get it from someone who weighs 250 (because always gain weight) and has a 365 squat but can quote verbatim from an anatomy text all the muscles, ligaments and tendons involved in the movement.
'Shug, you the man for posting this. I love that Karwoski. I could listen to his crazy ass for hours. Definitely going to watch the whole thing soon.
Yeah - the Captain!
I would like to add here another useful tip from the current World Record Holder - Eddie Hall's Deadlift Training and Tips, featuring the Deadlift - YouTube
