    Default bursitis and overhead presses

Sup Mark. I am training this girl and have her doing most of the novice program in Starting Strength. However, due to bursitis in her right arm she can't seem to lock out on overhead presses. I don't want to eliminate this important exercise from the program, however I don't want her dropping heavy weight on her skull due to a failed rep. Your opinion?

She says its in her elbow. Today we did presses again and it looks like she is getting closer to locking out. Presses cured my rotator cuff problems....maybe it's helping her condition as well?

If here elbow is too sore to lock out a press, she might be able to reestablish the elbow extension passively by hanging from the bar before her warmups with first a prone and then a supine grip, then alternating between her light warmup presses and the hang.
