some training protocols outlines a recovery week every 4th week. Others point out a recovery week every 6th to 8th week. In some of your programmes you have included some ligher and medium work, but not always, as in the Wojus Geesham example in Practical Programming. I have noticed that my max strength in an exercise goes down if I keep intensity at or above 90% for more than 3-4 weeks, but I can come around that if I change to a different but similar execise.
Can you please comment on this and specifically tell me whether it is imperative to do deloading for recovery.
