    Default Coach, can you help?

Coach: Might I, if I may, direct you to this thread:

    http://startingstrength.com/resource...ad.php?t=28281

I know I'm not "YANDTP" as I really "can't" but, I want to follow and continue with the programs it's self. I was told to try to tighten up my upper back but, I'm not sure if it's the camera angel hitting my shoulder and making it look like it's rounded or of it actually is.

Can I get your opinion on the video?

    Thank you sir.

The only thing I see to comment on is the lack of good rebound out of the hole, which has turned into a near-full pause on the last rep. Sharpen up the bounce and you'll squat more weight.

Thanks Coach. I'll work on it for a few weeks and post another video. Thanks for the great book (still reading it), this site, and the free help you give to everyone.

Hard to tell from video angle but the bar looks high. Are you doing a high bar squat?

Yes sir. Thank you. Thank you kindly.

I'm just going to do it. Not going to let anything hold me down. Never really have, never will.

Coach, in reading the book, I noticed the section where cleans are introduced a few weeks after starting. Knowing my predicament, would you suggest that I try to clean with the barbell or go with a dumbbell clean (snatch)?

I'm sure I'll have many more questions for you. I'll just use this thread for that if that's okay.

    Thanks Coach.

In your situation, dumbbell snatches make the most sense. Vary the loads and the reps.
