    Default Weight Increments

Does the app adjust the weight increments you use over time?

E.g. at the beginning of SS you can increase your squat say 5kg per workout, but after a few workouts you'll need to reduce that down to 2.5kg per workout or maybe even less, to really milk the LP.

Does the app automatically change these increments or do you have to do it manually?

    Thanks

The app doesn't do this, but it is explained in the book, If you read it, you'll know how to adjust it accordingly. I am adding a deload function into the next update which explains (if you've missed a set) to lower the progression (as well as increasing rest time, sleep, diet etc).

Does the app tell you to introduce a light squat day when needed?

And does it introduce chins/pullups when cleans and deads get too heavy etc?

No, both of those are beyond the the novice program. I am planning to get more of the advanced novice and other programs in later this year.
