How to objectively evaluate a program
After moving on as an intermediate beyond SSLP, programs seem to become more subjective. The reasons for adding in accessory work as well as rep/set schemes seem made up at times. Bro science is rampant, and the arguments for things like neutral grip chins vs supinated chins go on for days. How does a person step back and objectively assess a program or the effectiveness of a program they've been on for a reasonable amount of time?
I've not read Practical Programming in several years so forgive me if you've addressed this elsewhere.
