    But I don't understand why someone would buy it.

    Does it accomplish anything that backoff sets of deadlifts wouldn't accomplish?

    Or even anything that hanging from a bar wouldn't accomplish?

    Just do heavy farmers walks and get some conditioning at the same time you are building your grip.
    I also have a set a of COC Grippers, but they can be hard to recover from.

    The Captains of Crutch grippers are not incrementally loadable. The Rogue unit would be if they used a weight stack. Meh, Rogue come up with a lot of expensive shit that often misses the mark on obvious features.
